To fully upgrade an artifact, it costs 160,500 fragments for the silver tier, 257,000 fragments for the gold tier and 384,000 fragments for the legendary tier. Upgrading them costs Azure Artifact Fragments.
Please note that the range of stats change are shown below for each Artifact along with the rate of increase with each level upgrade. Artifact Fragments can be obtained in League Raids (5 through 8), Solo Raids, shattering duplicate Artifacts, or via chests. Artifacts can be upgraded like normal gear, but use new unique materials, called Artifact Fragments, which come in Azure, Apokolips, and Kryptonite varieties. Raid Rewards for Raid 6 and 7 will give a chance to earn an artifact but you will be guaranteed one Artifact when your League ranks in the top 3 or top 5 of Raids 7 and 8.
